Agendable is a Chrome extension that schedules websites to open at times selected by the user. This policy explains what information Agendable handles and why.
Information stored in Chrome
Agendable stores schedule names, website URLs, opening times, repeat settings, theme preferences, extension settings, an installation identifier, and license status in Chrome's local extension storage. Schedule data remains on the user's device unless the user exports a backup file.
License activation
When a user activates the paid version, Agendable sends the buyer email address and a randomly generated installation identifier to the Agendable licensing server. The server returns a signed license token. The token is periodically rechecked to confirm that the license remains valid.
Support requests
If a user submits the support form, Agendable collects the name, email address, selected topic, extension version, message, page URL, browser user agent, and a hashed IP address. This information is used to respond to help requests, investigate bugs, and improve Agendable.
Payments
Payments are processed by PayPal. Agendable does not receive or store payment card or bank account details. PayPal may provide transaction identifiers, buyer email, payment amount, currency, and payment status to the licensing server through verified webhooks.
Chrome permissions
- alarms: schedules website openings.
- storage: saves schedules, preferences, and license status.
- tabs: opens scheduled websites and optionally reuses matching tabs.
- licensing server access: activates and verifies paid licenses.
Sharing and sale of data
Agendable does not sell personal information. Information is shared only with service providers required to process payments, operate licensing, or comply with legal obligations.
Retention and deletion
Local schedule data can be removed by deleting entries, clearing the extension's storage, or uninstalling Agendable. Purchase, activation, and support records may be retained by the licensing server for fraud prevention, accounting, support, product improvement, and legal requirements.
Security
License requests use HTTPS. PayPal webhook signatures are verified before payment records are accepted. No system can guarantee absolute security, but access is limited to what is required to operate the extension.
Changes
This policy may be updated when Agendable's functionality or service providers change. The effective date will be updated on this page.
