In a bizarre twist of fate, Goldie is
actually writing a composition for this year Proms programme.
It is 60 years since RCA record company released the first commercial seven-inch single, spinning at 45rpm.
To celebrate the anniversary, BBC News has been given access to a factory that still makes singles.

Cut, Copy, Paste, Search, Auto-fill for Safari -- awesome. The New APIs also provides support for applications to communicate with hardware accessories attached to iPhone or iPod touch.
