{mosimage}Today I ordered my new Mac mini Core Duo 1.66 with 1GB of RAM and 120GB HDD. This device is going to be the crux of my Media Centre.



I was informed by Nextbyte, that if I wanted the 80GB HDD, I could have the unit that day, but as I wanted the bigger hard drive (quicker than an external), I was told there would be a 4 to 6 week delay.



In the meantime, I came across this site, OWC, who have posted a new video showing how to disassemble the Intel-based Mac mini. The video covers upgrading the Mac mini's hard drive, memory, and optical drive. Check it out.



Update (20/3): I've been told there is a 3-4 week delay. So, mid April.
