Today, I went to Game on! at the State Library of Queensland, which is on from
17 November 2008 – 15 February 2009, open daily 10am - 5pm.

The event was split into two levels with the more modern, console games upstairs -- teehee, you have to que up for the Wii. But, level 1 was where it was at with the highlights being the original 1965 Space Wars on a PDP-1, Stand-up Asteroids which was in impeccable condition, Berzerk (with slightly dodgy joystick), Stand-up Discs of Tron - I had the high score when we left, Missile Command - the original trackball classic (as seen in Chuck recently), Star Wars and Dig Dug.

Pity no photos are allowed, otherwise I would have been all over this like a rash, so best get down there and check it out for yourself.
