Today, Apple's CEO Steve Jobs gave a sneak peek into the future of the iPhone OS.

I'm excited! There are some really cool features in OS 4.0, with 1500 new APIs available to us developers, including such coolness as Background audio and location, Calendar Access, Local notifications, iAd and more.
