{mosimage} Microsoft says it is no longer developing a Mac version of its Windows Media Player for Mac, following the announcement of a separate five-year agreement with Apple to develop Office for the Mac and Messenger.
"We have no plans to provide future updates or product support for Windows Media Player for Mac," Adam Anderson, Microsoft public relations manager, told CNET News.com.
I guess I'll watch less WMP content now.

From behind the black curtain, Apple introduced a number of new products: MacBook Pro, Intel iMac, iWork '06, iLife '06 and iWeb, and an iPod FM Tuner.
The new MacBook Pro is currently priced at $3,199 AU or $3,354 AU with 1GB of RAM.
{mosimage}Google is to start selling video online, offering a way for people to search for and buy TV shows and more through its site.
"It lets anyone sell video," said Mr Page announcing the Google Video Store. "The content producers can decide what to charge."
Some 3,000 items will be available to rent or download and watch in Google's new desktop video player.
