{mosimage}Google is to start selling video online, offering a way for people to search for and buy TV shows and more through its site.



"It lets anyone sell video," said Mr Page announcing the Google Video Store. "The content producers can decide what to charge."



Some 3,000 items will be available to rent or download and watch in Google's new desktop video player.

Those cool cats at NASA have witnessed a rare explosion on the Moon, caused by a meteoroid crashing into it.

The blast was equal in energy to about 70kg of TNT and was seen near the edge of Mare Imbrium (the Sea of Rains).

The object that hit the Moon was probably part of a shower of "taurids" which peppered Earth in late October and early November.

The Federal Government will next year legalise the video recording of television shows for personal use, and the transfer of songs from CDs to MP3 players, in a bid to overturn a ban which has made criminals of much of the population."
